Arrowhead History

Arrowhead Lake Community’s history began with the late 1800s ice industry, which thrived after the construction of a nearby railway. Man-made lakes like Arrowhead were created for ice harvesting but declined with the rise of electric refrigeration. The Robbins Door & Sash Company later owned the area, using it for business retreats. In 1963, All-American Realty purchased the land and began selling lots, offering minimal amenities. Dissatisfied homeowners formed the Arrowhead Lake Community Association in 1967, which led to improvements and formal organization. The Association was officially incorporated in 1968, solidifying its role as the property owners' legal representative.
